Mississauga is Canada's sixth-largest city and one of the most diverse in the world — over 60% of residents are first or second-generation immigrants, creating a rich cultural fabric reflected in the city's restaurants, festivals, and communities. The city spans from the Credit River gorge in the west to the Etobicoke Creek in the east, with distinct communities offering very different lifestyles.
Port Credit is Mississauga's most beloved neighbourhood — a waterfront village with a walkable main street, marina, and year-round farmers market. Streetsville has a similar village feel further north. Erin Mills and Meadowvale are mature family suburbs with strong schools. City Centre around Square One is rapidly intensifying with new condo towers. The LRT (Hazel McCallion Line) is now operational, linking Port Credit GO all the way to Brampton.
